Westport Federal Credit Union recently participated in the Cooperation Credit Union Association’s The Credit Union College Scholarship Program. Westport Federal Credit Union was one of a number of sponsoring credit unions in the Southern Mass Chapter that participated.

From the applicants, three (3) finalists were selected and submitted to The Credit Union Scholarship Program. One (1) Southern Mass chapter scholarship was available. Cody Dale Carreiro, sponsored by WFCU, was selected as a winner of that $1,500 scholarship. Cody is a senior at Diman RVT High School and will begin pursuing a degree in engineering this Fall.

Westport Federal Credit Union is thrilled for Cody and are proud to have him represent WFCU and the Southern Mass Chapter.
