Are you looking to open a checking or savings account, but can’t make it to apply in person? With Westport Federal Credit Union’s online account opening, you can open an account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This free service is available to current members through their online banking account. Any non-members who are interested in opening an account can access the application by visiting westport.org.

If you are not currently a member, a savings account with a minimum opening amount of $5 is required to establish membership. With a new checking account a minimum of $20 is required to open, and members will have the option to add a debit card or checks to their account. Banking from the comfort of your home makes your life easier.

This service comes in addition to WFCU’s current free online services including Bill Pay, EZ Banking and our mobile banking app with complete mobile deposit.
