Westport Federal Credit Union is proudly teaming up with the Westport River Watershed Alliance to raise awareness about a terrific cause. Starting Thursday, April 22, Westport Federal Credit Union will be selling insulated grocery totes for $3 each with proceeds going to the WRWA. Inside each bag is a folder containing a bumper sticker, WRWA pamphlet, a Town of Westport Citizen’s Guide, and a Kid’s Guide to Coastal Westport. Grocery totes may be purchased at the Westport Federal Credit Union Main Office located at 655 State Road, Westport or the Central Village Branch, located at 790 Main Road, Westport.
WRWA’s mission is to restore, protect, celebrate, and sustain the natural resources of the Westport River and its watershed which encompasses six towns: Dartmouth, Fall River, Freetown, and Westport in Massachusetts, and Little Compton and Tiverton in Rhode Island. WRWA accomplishes its goal of protecting the watershed through education, advocacy, and community outreach. For further information on WRWA, please contact the office staff at (508) 636-3016 or visit www.westportwatershed.org.
Westport Federal Credit Union and the Westport River Watershed Alliance ask the community to help “keep it blue by going green” and purchase a grocery tote today.
