TravelMoney VISA
Westport Federal Credit Union announces the new VISA TravelMoney® Card program which has replaced the American Express Travelers Cheques that were previously being offered. The new program is designed to be easier to use than Travelers Cheques and safer than cash. The reloadable prepaid card can be used at ATMs (for cash in local currency) and as a debit or credit card for purchases. The cards are usable worldwide, wherever VISA is accepted. If the card is lost or stolen, replacement is fast and easy.
The VISA TravelMoney® Cards may be purchased at both the Main Office and the Central Village Branch locations. Money can be reloaded onto the card at either WFCU location or online. Westport Federal Credit Union would like to stress that this is a prepaid card, not a credit card and there is no credit check or credit reporting.
